Is there lack of precision in the grasp?

High precision calibration of the optical plan: slightly improve the grasp precision by correcting optical distorsion due to perspective errors and lenses deformity.

 

XVRT (eXtended Virtual Resolution): transform camera's resolution into 1536 X 1152 pixels without information loss.

Are there difficulties when calculating the tool frame center?

Automatic tooling system: robot's tool frame rotation center is calculated automatically by the vision system, that's in order to lighten the human operator from complex calculations.

Do the robot tool hit other objects?

Thanks to the interference control you can choose between 3 different logics to control whether the tool frame can hit objects near the selected one.

There are structural vibrations?

You won't need heavy structures to hold cameras! Thanks to the image stabilizer HMIST (Hybrid Micro Image Stabilizer) that allows you to obtain repetitive positions, correcting any vibrations in the structure where the cameras are placed.

 

Real time automatic calibration: erroneously move the camera won't cause problems anymore, because the system itself will suddenly correct the position.

Does the environmental light change?

You don't need to cover the system from light! It automatically corrects environmental light changes in order to avoid any problem in the image processing.

Is the environment dirty, dusty or with oily mist?

Evolved filters inside image acquisition makes this software really industrial: these ones automatically correct every error due to the dirt laying on the camera's lenses or due to dust floating in the air and let you almost forget about camera's maintenance, reducing the risk of involuntary camera movement.

 

 
 

Are the conveyor belts dirty, wet or consumed?

You won't need to keep the conveyor belts clean anymore! The automatic background offset makes the object recognition independent from the background where it leans on. It works fine with dirty conveyor belts, metallic grids, chains, etc.

Do you need to detect a very small rotation of the object?

High Precision Rotation: it gives you the rototranslation on 360° of an object, the calculation is based on a single point on the object itself to detect rotation and on several points to calculate the translation.

 

Robot Fiducial: it gives you the rototranslation of an object, it is based on several points on the object istself allowing precision to be greater than 0.01°.

Does the heat cause an image deformation?

Thermal lenses correction: it allows to grab a hot object without lack of precision.

Are objects similar both on front and back side?

Front / back recognition: the software recognizes front from back in almost symmetrical objects, it needs only a small difference in the symmetry.

Do you need to grab objects while keeping the conveyor running?

Do the objects have different colours?

Do you need to guide a robot while doing quality analysis?

QUALITY, OCR, OCV, SURFACE, MEASURE: these modules works at the same time as the robot guide, doing their analysis on the quality, surface, dimensions or optical character reading and validation. This modules can work together on the same system.

Do you need to grasp objects from a chest?

Grasp from the chest 2D and 3D: some new functinalities were added to optimize the grasp from a chest or a heap.

Are the objects arranged randomly?

Unscramble of a magnetic grasp: now is possible to grab objects arranged randomly in the space and it's possible to manage multitool frames.
