Problem:
The problem of the client is that to pack some biscuits withdrawing them with a robot from a conveyor belt. The biscuits have a casual position and the belt it is in movement. |

Solution:
VEA has developed the ROBOT system devoted to resolving the problem of robot guide. This application uses 6 systems to command the robots of the line. The main characteristics of this application are the followings:

Reliability of the vision system:
A industrial robot guide has to be reliable and repetitive. Unfortunately in the industrial environment don't exist same conditions that there are in the laboratory. For this reason it is essential to have a system that automatically correct the dysfunctions under listed:

Camera freely positioned:
It is not necessary to position the camera with precision because the plan setting's system straps automatically the perspective deformations. The procedure of setting is completely automatized and fast. |

Thanks to the completely configurable interface it is possible to connect with whatever robot system also with conveyor in movement (modality conveyor tracking). |

Incorporated PLC: The PLC included in the vision system allows to manage I/O with 32 parallel tasks, independently from the vision system. |
